You know… I get it. I understand body modesty. I know that the naked body can be a great temptation for some, but why do we keep trying to make into law something that SHOULD be about personal responsibility and choice? — If you are offended by nudity and you know that there will be nudity at a particular beach, DON’T GO THERE. Or better yet, why not go to the beach, but avert your eyes from the naked people. To my knowledge, there are no nude beaches in Australia at which the topless sunbathers run around, trying to force the image of their bodies into the eyes of the morally upright. (uptight?)

Of course there are rightfully rules about dress for certain actions and areas of our societies and countries, but I’m really tired of hearing groups of prudes talk about how something will “hurt the children” or “degrade the xxx” when in fact they’re really only talking about their own view of the world. — If you really want to be morally upright, tell us what you really mean… “I DON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE AROUND NAKED PEOPLE.” — See… is that so hard?
